I felt fine, totally normal in fact, after Todd’s 2nd treatment and I even felt more energized throughout the day. The fatigue hit me the next morning. I was strangely tired, since nothing else had changed and I am finally over my cold, which went away completely the morning after my treatment. I didn’t even need to nap when I was sick last week. Now I have needed to take a long nap in the last two days in order to get through the day. I know my body must be busy healing because it’s unusual for me to be that tired. I also noticed that I lost some water weight after his treatment. I have had very swollen legs after my pregnancy 4 months ago and it is great to see the water going down. I haven’t stepped on a scale but it is definitely noticeable.

My son has been much calmer and less agitated since he saw Todd. Last year was a rough year for all of us, since our daughter died in July of 2009 at the end of my pregnancy with her. I got pregnant 5 months later but it was a hard year with mourning her loss and being pregnant again with another girl. Our son definitely picked up on that energy, grief, and stress. Even though he seemed so relieved and happy with the birth of our second daughter, I think there was some residual stress as he was very high-strung and full of a nervous energy. He was like a thoroughbred horse that needed to be RUN in order to calm down. He is no longer like that since he saw Todd, which is a big deal for me, since he is in kindergarten during the mornings only and is home the rest of the day.

There was only so much I could do to get him out of the house in the afternoons with a newborn to care for, especially in the winter. That is no longer a problem and our relationship has improved as a result. I am more patient and don’t have to get upset with him, and he is happier and just….calmer. That is the word I would use to describe him now. After my first treatment with Todd, I noticed I had more milk a few days later. That change has remained and my baby is able to go longer between feeds now. I used to worry if I had enough milk and that affected my supply, I am sure. I no longer have that anxiety, which is wonderful and so freeing. I will keep watching how much milk I am able to pump and hopefully that will also increase after my second treatment. I know I pumped more this morning (2 days after the 2nd treatment) which surprised me, but I am not sure if it is coincidental, an effect from Todd’s treatment, or just if my daughter ended up drinking less during her feed just before, and there was more for me to pump out…..I’ll keep an eye on it to see if it happens again tomorrow! My husband also noticed that my mood has improved and that is wonderful, since only two months ago he remarked about how I seemed unhappy and was snapping at our son. I have never suffered from PMS, depression, or a mood disorder, but I definitely feel happier and more positive since Todd’s first treatment. I also feel that our son being calmer has helped me in that regard, also, with respect to my snapping at him less. After Todd’s first treatment, my 5 year old son got up to go to the bathroom during the night, which he never does. He was dry during the night until our daughter died, and then he went back to wetting the bed and has been wearing pull-ups every night since. His bed wetting has not stopped “overnight” but I am hopeful that he will start to train himself dry again. I have seen improvement, and though it is subtle, I am very body aware and know that something is changing. For starters, I seem to have a bit more milk. I realize my body is not going to double my milk production overnight, but Abby is able to go longer between feeds and this just happened after the treatment. She has gone from 3 or 3.5 hrs to 4 hours between feeds. I have had to wake her a couple of times to make sure she didn't go longer than 4 hours! Plus, when I pump I am getting a bit more milk than usual. I will keep an eye on it to make sure it's not just a coincidence, but I really do feel that I have more milk. (More blood flow to the breasts, I guess.)Secondly, I have less water retention. Again, it is subtle and I doubt Keith would notice; it's not like I've peed out 20 lbs overnight (I WISH!), but I noticed it the next day. I am able to wear a particular pair of new socks with just barely a "sock line"; I avoid wearing them because they are so tight that they actually hurt and I have to either pull them right down and fold them over once, or not wear them at all. Now I pull them up and leave them up and they are not uncomfortable at all. That's a big deal for me. Should I be noticing something more dramatic?  I don't find I am peeing a lot, really, and funny enough, I feel I am almost not peeing as much as before. I drank two glasses of water a while ago and usually I would be peeing it out 20 minutes later. That hasn't happened....is that weird?Third, I notice I can take much deeper breaths since you released the intercostal muscles. I always had a bit of trouble taking in such deep breaths; I always felt there was some restriction there but just chalked it up to not having great tidal volume. (Wrong assumption, I guess!)  Deep breaths feel really good now! Fourth: I hate to even talk about this, it's not exactly lady-like, but I know you probably want to know about bowel movements. They have increased in volume and I go 3 times a day while before I went twice a day; that's quite a big deal this week because we have consumed foods without much fibre in the last few days (a lot of family visits and dinners without our normal healthy food) and usually that almost constipates me. As for energy, I was very, very tired the day of the treatment and had to take a nap when I got home. I was absolutely frozen to the core but after I slept I warmed up and was fine. The next day I was tired, too, but didn't need a nap and after that I have been my normal self with good energy. It seems I am shrinking (even though, as we discussed, the scale is not moving) because today I got into pants I could not even get past my thighs a few months ago when I was almost the same weight on the scale!!!!  I do understand that some serious rebalancing is going on with water and muscle and other such things. So just thought I'd report this nice side effect. I am itching to get moving and start working out (gently) again......In January I was feeling awful and very tired, and had no desire to work out at all. Now, I actually crave movement. I am sleeping better after I do my breathing and now I jump out of bed in the morning rather than drag myself out. Sorry to bother you with one more email, but I just wanted to say HOLY SHMOLY I HAVE SO MUCH MORE MILK!!!  I got 6 oz last night, which is unheard of, and 4.5 oz this morning AFTER I fed Abby for a long time, where I usually get 2 oz. Something is happening here!   :)

Just thought I'd send you along a quick update. I went on the anti-inflammatory diet on Sunday and eliminated dairy, gluten, and other things. Just as you said, (when my body is working properly it will really work) I lost 5 pounds since Monday!!!!!  It is literally falling of me and I am eating carbs. Just the ones on the acceptable list from the "Eat Right For Your Type" diet. I can't believe it. I am feeling so good, have so much energy, and so much less inflammation. My feet hardly hurt now. THANK YOU. I know that this is working because of YOU. I went off dairy and gluten in the past (after I had William and was having so many issues with swelling, etc.) and it did not work.  This is because of your treatments.
